Cirta has over 20 years of clinical and 5 years of research experience in the field of Low Vision and Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI). Her practical and individualised approach to supporting adults and children with visual difficulties has benefitted many of her patients in the hospital eye service as well as in private consultations. She has built strong links with sight loss charities and local support groups and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with patients, carers, healthcare and educational professionals.
